These terms apply when you use the Party Jar app and this website. By using the app you agree to them. They are written to be read, so they are short.
01The app
Swendoz Studio gives you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use Party Jar on devices you own or control, for private, non-commercial play. You may not copy, sell or redistribute the app or its content, such as the word decks, rules and illustrations.
02Party Jar Plus
Plus is a one-time purchase that unlocks extra features in the app. It is not a subscription. The purchase is made through Google Play or the App Store, and their terms apply to payment and refunds. You can restore Plus on a new device with the same store account.
We may add, change or improve Plus features over time. We won’t take away the core of what you paid for: no ads and the extras listed on the Plus screen at the time of purchase.
03Playing safely
Party Jar is a game for people in the same room. Some games involve moving around, acting things out or passing the phone quickly. Play in a safe space, look after the phone and the people around you, and skip any card or game that doesn’t suit your group.
04Content
We write the decks and rules to be fun for mixed groups aged 13 and over. If something feels wrong or offensive, tell us and we’ll look at it. Lists you create yourself stay on your phone and are your responsibility.
05No warranty
We work hard to keep Party Jar running well, but the app is provided as it is. We can’t promise it will always be free of errors or available on every device.
06Liability
To the extent the law allows, Swendoz Studio is not liable for indirect damage arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
07Changes
We may update these terms. If the change is significant, we’ll mention it in the app or on this site. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
